  1. Craft Vendors
    We hope you will attend Festival in the Park this year! We accept everything from carpentry to hairbows and everything in between. As long as it is hand made.
     
    All work must be original in design and presented by the maker (original artist or craftsman). Items made from kids, or manufactured items are not allowed. If your items are found to be manufactured, you will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
     
    Media will be selected based on quality, original design and a varried representation of the Arts and Crafts. Items may include but are not limited to basketry, dolls, flowers, glass, jewelry, leather works, quilting, sewing, weaving, wood, pottery, and/or iron works.
     
    Application Procedure
    A $75 fee for a 12-foot x 12-foot space is required. For those not accepted, $70 of this fee will be returned; a processing fee of $5 is non-refundable.
     
    Application deadline is April 3, 2017. Notification letters of acceptance will be mailed after April 7, 2017. A parking permit, information and instruction sheet will be available upon your arrival at the event. Applications received after April 3, 2017, will be accepted on space availability and quality of work.

  2. Food Vendors
    All food concessionaires are chosen based on the following criteria: variety of food offerings, professional design of booth and food area, ability to move food quickly from receipt of order to payment and delivery, and the concessionaires ability to meet or exceed Virginia Health Department Standards.     Vendors must remain open during all hours of Festival. If accepted, Concessionaire must submit a copy of his/her liability insurance with Festival in the Park and the City of Danville, VA, listed as additional insured.
     
    Only one receptacle (two outlets) at 110 volts will be available. Electrical receptacles will require a 3-wire grounded connection. Concessionaire must run own ground serving unit to a metal rod in the ground.
     
    Application Procedure
    If application (downloadable below) is accepted, vending fees are due by April 1, 2017. The fee for snack vendors is $400. The fee for multi-food vendors is $800. Electricity is included.
     
    Snack vendors would include kettle corn, ice cream etc. Multi-food vendor would include corn dogs, ribbon fries, barbecue sandwhiches, corn on the cob, etc.

  3. Specialty Market
    Our Specialty Market section includes items that are not considered to be normal Arts, Crafts or Commercial Products. To be elighble, items must be made, grown or produced by the exhibitors. Items must also be prepackaged for sale and cannot be made on site.
     
    This is a three-day Festival; therefore, baked goods, dairy products or food items not processed in a Health Department, pre-inspected approved kitchen or preparation area are not allowed. All persons who plan to sell homemade canned items and home processed goods must provide a copy of an approved certification from the Health Department or Department of Agriculture.
     
    Items may include but are not limited to plants, herbs and spices; soaps and fragrance oils; homemade jams, jellies and canned sauces; wines or juices (with approved licenses); and/or homemade pet supplies and treats (with approved Department of Agriculture certification).

  4. Community Agencies
    Averett University's Center for Community Engagement  and Career Competitiveness will host SERVE365; a Community Resource Fair, on Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    The event is open to non-profit organizations and agencies in Danville and surrounding community.
     
    Application Procedure
    All interested exhibitors are required to fill out an aplication (available for download below).

    No payment is necessary to participate, however each organization is required to bring its own tables, tent, chairs, etc.

    Check-in and set-up time is from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

  5. Commercial Exhibitors
    Commercial Exhibitors have the opportunity to expose their business and/or products to an expansive number of potential customers during the three-day festival.
     
    Along with exposure, exhibitors also increase visibility with positivie publicity; enhance business, consumer and VIP relations; and most importantly, help support the quality of life in the Danville Area.
     
    As a commercial exhibitor, you are provided a high-traffic, 12-foot x 12-foot display space and the opportunity to display products, showcase services and give demonstrations to 1,000s of event visitors.
     
    Application Procedure
    All interested exhibitors are required to fill out an aplication (available for download below).
     
    A fee of $500 is required for exhibitors intending to sell products or services on site. A fee of $300 is required for exhibitors intending to display products and information.
